What Will It Cost?We are committed to building a range of housing sizes and types which will be attractive to persons and families in different stages of life and with varying financial resources. View the base price of the Souhegan and Nissitissit models here. While it is too early in the permitting process and in our market research to state the complete range of house prices, you can help us greatly in this process by filling out our questionnaire and by giving us any other feedback on your desired housing style and size along the way. Some aspects of our costs are fixed, such as the price of the land; some will vary depending on what the permitting authorities require of us (for example, paved roads are more expensive than gravel roads); and some will be up to us to choose. Where we have the opportunity to buy a locally-produced or natural building material rather than a cheaper, unsustainable alternative, we would like to do so. While we are constrained by the need to cover our development costs, to give our investors a fair return, and to make a fair return ourselves, we are also committed to exploring ways to reduce the entry costs for buyers with limited means, and to direct such buyers to sources of downpayment and loan assistance. |
